Ingredients:
- 2 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon palm sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Steamed jasmine rice for serving
Instructions:
Season the cod fillets lightly with salt.
Prepare a steamer and bring water to a gentle boil.
Place the cod fillets in the steamer and steam for about 8–10 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, minced garlic, and chopped red chili until the sugar dissolves.
Once the cod is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate.
Drizzle the Thai herb sauce over the steamed cod.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and mint leaves.
Serve immediately with steamed jasmine rice.
