Ingredients:
- 1 lb ham, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers for grilling
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Juice of one lime
- Pinch of chili flakes
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Add the ham cubes to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
3. Preheat your grill or broiler.
4. Thread the marinated ham onto skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until the ham is cooked through and slightly charred.
6. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple, onion, ginger, brown sugar, lime juice, and chili flakes.
7. Cook until the mixture thickens and becomes chutney-like in consistency.
Serve the Spiced Ham Tikka hot off the grill with a generous side of tangy Pineapple Chutney.
